경상도 옹기

한반도 남쪽에 위치한 경상도의 옹기는 전라도 옹기와 유사한 형태를 가지지만, 다른 지역에 비해 입구가 유난히 좁고, 어깨가 높으며 배 부분이 부른 것이 특징이다.

경상도 옹기는 크게 내륙과 해안 지역으로 나뉘며, 지역에 따라 형태의 차이를 보인다.

 내륙의 옹기는 어깨선에서 배까지 곡선으로 흘러내려 배가 부르고, 해안 지역의 옹기는 배가 부른 달걀 모양을 띤다.

Gyeongsangdo Onggi

Onggi from Gyeongsang Province, located in the southern part of the Korean Peninsula, has a shape similar to Jeolla Onggi,

but is characterized by a particularly narrow opening, high shoulders, and a bulging belly compared to jars from other regions.

Gyeongsangdo Onggi can be divided into inland and coastal types, showing differences in shape depending on the region.

Inland Onggi have a curved line from the shoulder to the belly, making the belly bulge, while coastal Onggi have a bulging, egg-shaped body.
