강원도 옹기

강원도는 다른 지역에 비해 햇빛이 적고 기온이 낮은 지역이다.

이러한 환경적 특성 때문에 강원도 옹기는 햇빛을 최대한 받아들이도록, 입구에서 배 부분까지 거의 일직선 형태를 띤다.

또한, 험준한 산지가 많은 지형적 조건을 고려하여 운반이 용이하도록 다른 지역의 옹기보다 비교적 작은 크기로 제작되었다.

Gangwon Province receives less sunlight and has lower temperatures compared to other regions

 Due to these environmental conditions, Gangwon Onggi are shaped nearly in a straight line from the opening to the belly to maximize sunlight exposure.

Additionally, considering the rugged mountainous terrain, they were made relatively smaller than Onggi from other regions to facilitate easier transport.
