미꾸라지잡이 통은 옆구리의 구멍을 통해 미끼(된장 등)를 넣고 흐르는 개울물에 두면, 미꾸라지가 안으로 들어오지만 쉽게 빠져나올 수 없는 구조로 만들어진 어로용 옹기이다.
